PictureThe Duck Race
An occasional event, dependent on the stream flowing, has been a Duck race, held in the spring in previous years by former residents Mike and Sue Crawshaw to raise funds for the Village Hall and St Nicholas Church. The Village Hall committee has decided to take on the organisation of this lively and entertaining event, and this year 2010 we were treated to a good flow of 29cm and two good races.
