The 2002 Good Friday Walk
The Bourne Valley Team of Churches has been organizing a Good Friday Pilgrimage visiting all or most of the churches in the team. In the early years the walk started at Winterbourne Earls and finished at Cholderton, but more recently the walk has started at Cholderton, visiting Newton Tony, Allington, Boscombe, Porton, Winterbourne Gunner and finaly Winterbourne Earls.

The Childrens' Christmas Celebration
The church tries to organize a special Christmas celebration for the children in the village. The first year this took place in the Village Hall and involved an impromptu performance of the nativity story. In more recent years children have acted out the nativity in one of the stables in the village, most recently at Holly Tree house.
